COOKIE POLICY

In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, we inform you that this website, Fbauza Abogados, uses cookies and other storage and data-retrieval devices.

Cookies are small text files sent to a browser from a web server to record activity on a website so that information can later be retrieved while browsing pages connected to the server that installed them. Cookies may store technical information, personal preferences, content customisation settings, usage statistics, links to social networks and similar information.

Types of cookies

The following classification describes cookies according to several categories. A single cookie may fall within more than one category.

According to the entity that manages them

First-party cookies: cookies sent to the user’s device from equipment or a domain managed by the website publisher and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies: cookies sent to the user’s device from equipment or a domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies. Where cookies are installed from equipment or a domain managed by the publisher but the information collected is managed by a third party, they are not considered first-party cookies.

According to how long they remain active

Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website and generally used for information that only needs to be retained for the provision of a service on a single occasion.

Persistent cookies: data remain stored on the device and may be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, ranging from minutes to several years.

According to purpose

Technical cookies: enable users to browse a website, platform or application and use its options or services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying a session, accessing restricted areas, remembering elements of an order, carrying out registration or participation requests, using security elements, storing audio/video content or sharing content through social networks.

Preference/personalisation cookies: allow users to access the service with certain general characteristics predefined according to criteria on the user’s device, such as language, browser type or regional configuration.

Analytics cookies: allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse user behaviour on linked websites. The information collected is used to measure website, application or platform activity and to create browsing profiles in order to introduce improvements based on usage analysis.

Advertising cookies: enable advertising spaces included on a website, application or platform to be managed as effectively as possible according to criteria such as edited content or frequency of display.

Behavioural advertising cookies: enable advertising spaces to be managed as effectively as possible and store information about user behaviour obtained through continuous observation of browsing habits in order to develop a specific profile for displaying advertising.

How to disable cookies in the main browsers

To configure cookie use, follow the instructions provided by your browser or consult its help pages. The current Spanish policy includes references for Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer and Edge.
